avAltimeter is a comprehensive digital altimeter designed for aviation purposes. A standout feature is the app's reliance on actual barometric pressure for altitude calculations rather than GPS estimates, a unique aspect setting it apart from other aviation applications. Notably, avAltimeter requires an iPhone model 6 or later, iPad Air 2 or Mini 4, or any iPad Pro variant for optimal performance due to the presence of a built-in barometer.
